First few times i heard this i thought that line was "Watering the milk from a hole in the roof etc etc" I assumed they were so dreadfully poor they had no running water and had to eke out the milk with rainwater! |

I see this as the guy has had an accident, maybe crashed his bike and is lying there not really aware of anything but the sensations around him, the warmth of the sun, the sound of insects and when the ambulances arrive he imagines it's a motorcade as he is slipping into delerium (blurs all my senses numb). Then he is in hospital being washed and treated, but still near death and unaware of whats really happening. The last line is when he comes out of the coma to the sound of someone he loves saying his name and suddenly he remebers it all and knows he is gonna be ok, he has another chance. He takes a deep breath and surveys the life he has come back to |
