In my opinion and my opinion only, I think there's more to it. But my opinion is just totally based on things that happened in my love life, just so you know :) I think it could also be about a relationship, in wich the guy thinks he can't give the girl what she needs. He loves her, she loves him. He can't bear to see her with another, but he knows he has to go, because he thinks she deservers better? That's why he is going missing, so she can get over him.. The nothing left to lose sentence could point out the "i've already lost you, so i've got nothing left to lose" thing. Maybe it's just that I interpretate it like this because my ex dumped about 10 weeks ago. Saying he still loves me, but he just needed to. After that I found out he always thought he couldn't give me enough attention and love... "Don't act like it came as a surprise, Don't believe me? Then look into these eyes" Is exactly what my exboyfriend said. But the stupid thing is, I really didn't see it coming. All by all I just love this song. Expeciallu the "I sleep with my hands across my chest, and I dream of you with someone else." For me that indicates to dying whenever you think of your ex-lover with somebody else... Any thoughts on that? |
