This is probably one of her best songs, if not, THEE best! This reminds me of my brother. Damn, almost every song i listen to reminds me of my brother.

See, this is why I love Taylor Swift. Her songs are really freaking amazing! This song reminds me of my mom... & How even though she's not the best, she still tries her absolute hardest to provide for my younger brother and I. She's made her mistakes, mistakes she doesn't want me to make... But she's pretty alright. She does so much just to give us what she couldn't give my older brother. I know how bad it hurt to watch him die, and I respect the fact that she didn't go insane or anything... That was her baby. Well anyway, I love my mom for doing what she can. & I love Taylor Swift for songs like these. |

I don't really even know what to say about this song... I think it's just about trying to be an individual, trying your best NOT to be like everyone else, but becoming an outcast in the process. It isn't long before nobody likes you, your friends aren't your friends anymore, you're alone. Even though you're not the only one, there's so many of you... You're still alone.
That's so totally me. I just started 7th grade. And honestly, at my middle school, if you're the awkward girl that dresses in all black all the time, the girl who writes Hanson on her hand, who basically writes whatever she can wherever she can whenever she can... And the one who tries her hardest to rebel against everything that almost everything else is trying so hard to be... Nobody's gonna like you. That's just how it works here.
But anyway, this song is just truly amazing! I don't care what anyone else says about it or about the fact that it's by Hanson. HANSON IS EFFIN AMAZING!!! I'm joined a club at school that helps put together all the assemblies and one of them (for December I think)) is about not fitting in and feeling kinda depressed or overwhelmed with certain things... I'm trying SO HARD to get them to use this song in the slideshow! |
