| I think the significance of the "carrot rope" comes from the lines------"Harness your hopes to the folks with the liquor with the ropes. Red red ropes."... then it's like "carrot rope, feed my thrill, I got beat by weather"------- so I think the carrot rope started out red, but then you started trying to be free and go outside, so the red rope got weathered in the sun and rain, and turned carrot-colored. | |
