To me, this song speaks about drugs, and the influence and disasters they have on people around them. The habit was the gun *the habit was the thing that would cause all this harm* The influence the trigger *the influences of people around them was the tipping point that would set this gun off* And the bullet was your tongue *I believe that the bullet refers to the damage it causes to the people around them. ( I didnt buckle from the pain) shows that they just shook it off, didnt take it to personally* I've been over this a thousand times before And still you are in the wrong If you keep this up, I won't be around for long This bit says to me that they have tried so hard to help these people out, but they wont listen and keep doing the harm to themselves, so they have no choice but to leave them and this pain behind |
