| The great thing about this song and all great songs is it has individual meaning for each listener. For me, the first time I heard it, I thought of an ex-girlfriend that I sometimes have to smile and pretend everything is okay between us. In truth I hate her and have never forgiven her for lying and being a cheat. I guess I feel guilty about not moving past that after all these years and the song just reminded me I shouldn't be dragging it around with me when I don't need to. | |
