It is actually a political song, the Genesis version came out during the Watergate era. And this version came out when people were realizing that the war in the Middle East is about oil and money and that it is just a waste of money. That is my opinion of why the power is a gigantic cash filled Winston Churchill. |

The song is about how a man loved his best friends wife and how they had to keep their love a secret(because back in the Middle Ages/Dark Ages women were killed/screwed over if they committed adultery) and probably the husband found out and framed his friend. The reason that neither of them said anything about the affair was they both love her and want to protect her. If you watch the video right as they're setting fire to the house or just before you see them shoving the boy(the younger one) towards the direction that he came on the screen right as he catches the drop of blood from the angel. So it only makes sense that the boys were outside the house. Also I believe that if they were in the shack as it was burning down they would have been near the angel, instead the angel is trying to feel around the house and find them. |

The song makes me think that he was abducted. You know where they say all he wanted was a toy, that is how some children are abducted.
Also,

makes me think that the 'frozen face' could be talking about a picture of him, and that his family is eating dinner and thinking of him which is causing the untold pain.
