To say it's about drug addiction is a bit vague It's about someone going through a rough patch in there lives where they turned to drugs, this is where they found comfort. Over time their pain grew stronger and they started using more and more to hide that pain. Ultimately in the end it turns out that most of this pain comes from the drug itself, all other worries would be gone but they're not. But they're now so withdrawn from the world that the drug is all they're left with. |

"back for that sweet posion so soon again, but that lie must end, i must collect for those pleasures gave" is saying that it was all a ruse, and the drug only ever wanted you addicted.
