Dream Theater – Never Enough Lyrics 15 years ago
@basssqq:

First of all, it doesn't have to be about ALL the fans, just those that complain about the music style. Some people complain about the soft songs, some people complain about the heavy "sell-out" songs.

Their point with this song is you should just shut the hell up. These guys work their asses off to make awesome, deep, emotional music only to have half the people complain about about it.

Just listen to the song with that theme in mind and tell me you disagree.

It couldn't really be about family issues

"Sacrifice my life; Neglect my kids and wife"

Dream Theater – I Walk Beside You Lyrics 15 years ago
I disagree. The verse "For every sign I recognize; Another one escapes me" means that this isn't an omniscient God or a follower of God speaking. More likely, it is a person to another person.

All the bible verses are meaningless coming from different books and not being in any kind of biblical order. Heck, I could find bible verses that make Slayer songs sound like they're about being with God.

Dream Theater – These Walls Lyrics 15 years ago
>> You are the only one who knows
>> I'm holding back

It would have to be directed to a certain person. Maybe or maybe no God, but it couldn't just be anyone.

It sounds like there is something important he needs to say so that someone doesn't get hurt (Every time you choose to turn away; Is it worth the price you pay; Is there someone who will wait for you)

Dream Theater – The Answer Lies Within Lyrics 15 years ago
The theme is awfully cliché, but It's still an awesome motivational song for me.
