Honestly... to me... it sounds like he is saying "Thieves and hypocrites" and not "face it, hypocrites"... and "thieves and hypocrites" makes more sense in the context of the song... |

yeah the whole "be aggressive" didnt come from a faith no more song anyway... it's an actual cheer, that FNM put into a song... same way manson took the cheer and changed it and used it the way he did... i highly highly HIGHLY doubt manson "ripped off" the FNM song... |

nj88... RVD used the Pantera version at live shows... the only thing the Kilgor version was used for was the ECW CDs because they didn't have the licensing to put the Pantera song on their CD, so they had Kilgor cover it. |

stig, you really should read through what you write before you submit it. the majority of that post made very little sense. "were married since 11 weeks as the album came was finished"... what?
anyway, yeah - like many, when I first listened to the cd, i was disappointed. First because Corey's voice has very noticably changed, especially his screaming. Second, because it wasn't nearly as heavy. however, after listening to the cd a couple times, I grew to like it. And V2 happens to be one of my favorite songs on the cd :). |

i hate how everyone says mushroomhead sold out when they got signed to universal. no one takes the time to notice that BEFORE they got signed, when they wrote everything from MRH, Superbuick, M3, and Remix, they had a different line up. When they released XX, which was just a compilation of their older material, Bronson wasn't the guitarist in those songs. It was Gravy and Dinner, and some songs were Gravy and Mudermickel. A new guitarist, that being Broson, brings a whole new style to the table for them to feed off of. They didn't "sell out'... they just enhanced their musical style.. and became, well, more MUSICAL.. if anything, they GREW as musicians..
as for this song, it's one of my fav songs on the cd, only because i love the way jens' and j's voices mend together during the verses of the song.
and i agree with divine, if u think this is a big change, wait until you hear slipknots new cd when it comes out on the 25th... |

first of all ryo, slipknot and stone sour sound nothing alike. you tell me one similarity between "Inhale" from Stone Sour and "Only One" or "Prothetics" from Slipknot other than that Corey sings them. "Inhale" is mellow and the slipknot songs, well... they aren't. And so you know, Stone Sour has a DJ in some of their songs. Listen to their CD all the way through and you will hear it. Know your shit before you talk it. |

Actually, Jay didn't write this song. A guy named jamie wrote it and he was in seventh grade when he did. He gave the song to his cousin who knew the band and she gave it to them.. they used it. |
