I used to think this meant that too, about two people not wanting to make a commitment in a relationship till i saw the full lyrics i noticed she says ... "Everytime (everytime) I think I'm alright (I think I'm doing alright) I think I'll win you over I hear you say..." .... meaning everytime she thinks shes finally got this guy and won him over he says he just wants to be "sidedish friends" and shes struggling with that fact "Oh boy, oh boy, I got to think about that" But thats just how i interpreted it cause thats sorta what im goin through right now liking a guy sooo much but all he wants is to be "sidedish friends" and even though i want more ill settle for that because i like him soo |
