Granted this is an instrumental, it seems to say a lot. It's placed between Chasing A Shadow and Forever. Then with this instrumental in between, it seems like they're referring to the same person. Also the song seems to connect Chasing A Shadow and Forever. When I listen to it, I am reminded of both songs. |

It's seems that the person telling the story here is in love with a girl who is in a relationship or who has an overbearing parental figure in their life who is against the guy and the girl having a relationship. It's almost like the person against it is trying to keep the girl down, so she feels hopeless and doesn't seek help from the guy who loves her. The guy however isn't going to give up because of the person who disapproves. He wants her back, and he's asking her to come back because he will protect her. *Note: It doesn't really seem like the guy and the girl had a relationship. Not a traditional one. It seems like one of those flirting and fleeting sort of things. |
