Aside from what form of metal music you'd like to label it, it is very much foolish to call people fools while making the most boneheaded grammatical error one can make. You did it twice. Let me help you. You misused there, twice. In both cases, they're is the correct form. They're is a contraction of they and are. They are death metal. They are melodic metal. Use correct grammar, that you learn in grade school, in the same sentence that you attempt to insult a person's intelligence.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that Killvia is angry at his life less than stellar. Given that he went through the trouble to find a thread for a passionate song such as this, just to spew something so completely retarded, tells me that his only way to climb out of the pathetic hole he has created for himself is to create, and feed, off the pain and anger of others. Besides, any decent man wouldn't disrespect a so beloved dead. And if he truly believes that the Rev sucks at what he did, he is obviously not at all smart. Killvia, i am sorry that your life is as empty as you have exposed it to be. Find some direction.

The true beauty of a well written song, or any piece of art for that matter, is its ability to be interpreted in many different ways. When a7x wrote this song, they very well could have been writing from the perspective of a soldier(i tend to think so because of the drumline), but it can easily be taken as a metaphor for depression, suicide, or be related to by everyone who has fought their own war in life. A beautiful, well written song. The entire Nightmare album is a masterpiece.

I think the surface level of the lyrics have been well documented....insecure guy kills gf to keep her forever, gf comes back and kills him, they marry in the afterlife....beneath the surface, i think this is a metaphor for those all too common relationships people stay in even though it clearly does not work, and each person continues to get hurt.

my take on this fine A7X tune is that it isn't about whether religion is right or wrong, because no one truly knows. To me this song is more about how we are destroying ourselves because of religion. We put too much into religion, and the afterlife, and our life on earth suffers for it.
