i think that this could be about a relationship, in which the girl is jealous. For example, "things have gotten closer to the sun, and ive done things in small doses, so don't think that i'm pushing you away, when you're the one that i've kept closest", could be a boy saying his girlfriend thinks he may be flirting with another girl even though it's very little ("done things in small doses"), the girl gets jealous very easily. He doesn't want her to think he doesn't love her anymore ("don't think that i'm pushing you away") because he does and she may be overreacting. |
