| Disturbed – Prayer Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Isn't the line in the chorus supposed to be: Heaven just isn't hot enough Burn me alive inside ? It sounds like he's saying that, and it does fit with the song. |

| I agree with both of the people above me. I think that Dave is singing about lawyers, attorneys, and the government in general who hide the truth. | |

| Yeah, before this gets swarmed, Nihilus has it exactly right. I love the song, and the whole album. | |
| Disturbed – Never Again Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song is about not letting the bad things happen again. Like the holocaust. It must never happen again. This song relates to David Draiman in a personal way, too. Long before he was born, in World War 2, his grand mother was a little girl during the holocaust. David Draiman is (or was) a strict Jew, and so was his grandmother. The grandmother escaped the showers(and death) by crawling under the legs of the older folk, waiting in line for their demise. So, this song is about preventing another holocaust, and another Hitler. It must happen Never Again. |

| Disturbed – Sacrifice Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song is not necessarily about being betrayed. It's about having two personalities.(But not necessarily bipolar. Everyone has a "good" side and a "dark" side. The lyrics that make this the most obvious is: In a moment you will see my other side When I'm confronted My demeanor turns from Jekyl into Hyde A book, "Dr.Jekyl and Mr.Hyde" is about having two split personalities. Hell has broken free tonight, and the darker side demands your sacrifice. |

| Disturbed – Crucified Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| About David's girlfriend/fiance leaving him. The song is about not being to move on after a break up. You are nailed to the cross, and you will remain. You are stuck in the moment. | |
| Disturbed – Serpentine Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song IS about Dave's ex-girlfriend who did this specific thing to him. Nihilus is exactly right about the meaning of this song. | |
| Disturbed – Mistress Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
As said by someone earlier, this song could be about drugs. The mistress is their drug, and it's a nightmare after a while. He tries to find another mistress of *burden*. It piles more on them. He may take multiple drugs, so he may be in a nightmare from which he can never awaken. |

"Fear's on the again" "Huh huh huh huh huh huh" He says that a few times. |

| Disturbed – The Night Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song is a journey to discover what's hidden, like the inner self of something. "Are you gonna deny the savior in front of your eyes?" It's there, and you have to keep searching. "Are you gonna remain a slave for the rest of your life?" You can keep searching, or you can go on doing the wrong thing, being a slave. One of my favorite Disturbed songs, never fails to amaze me when I listen to it. :D |
