I can't believe there are hardly any comments on this song. I personally think it's amazing. I see it that he is reminiscing about the good times with his best friends, before all the fame. Rocky sort of came out of nowhere, and at this time this album was released, he was more well-known. Perhaps he’s admitting that he’s changed. The postcards represent trying to keep in touch with his friends. That’s the vibe I get. Or it could be about his wife. Since he's always on the road. And she could always be alone as she is taking care of their son. |
