You, Me, and Everyone We Know – Sometimes We Have Too Much Fun Lyrics 14 years ago
I heard that this one's about Ben "speaking to his alcoholic self," which definitely makes sense. You could probably expand that to say that's its a rational person speaking to their self-destructive habits. The alcohol bit can definitely be seen in "You just keep drinking, While I think up all of the lies, I'll have to tell, To explain ourselves after tonight." The self-destructive person is out doing what they feel like, while the more rational side is worrying about the morning after. And then in "If I'm a fresh struck match, You're a gust of wind, Sure the breeze feels, Fine but you blow all the time, Tell me whats so wrong with letting me shine," he's talking about how these destructive habits of his prevent him "shining" due to the consequences he has to face.

Patrick Stump – Love, Selfish Love Lyrics 14 years ago
Some of the lyrics are off here. I think it should be "the stages of recovery can signify your age,
like rings around a stump." Then, "all my friends go to bed dreaming up a reason they should weep." And,"God bless the sad and selfish, stay helpless."

And in an interview Patrick said, "You know, a lot of people ask me why I don't have a Twitter. It's sad that people really go out of their way to tell everyone everything about themselves. Our country has verbal diarrhea. It's really sad -- there's no mystery, no surprise. "Love Selfish Love" is just about that. It would be nice to go on a first date with somebody and not be able to know everything about them from their MySpace or Facebook profile. There's no first impressions anymore. You go to a job interview and they'll probably Google you. It's a shame -- people should play it a little closer to the chest as far as what information they release to the world. If I'm angry about something I'm not going to take to my Twitter. The whole record explores that idea."

Patrick Stump – Porcelain Lyrics 14 years ago
I'd say this song's about the average person's obsession with famous people. They constantly keep up with the person's life (through magazines, television, etc.), but the famous person of course has no idea they exist, and could probably care less (Cause I'm just some kid you'll think about maybe in passing,
But you're like my passion, for real). They idolize whoever they're obsessing about, but they also seem to be realizing how fake they are. They'd never want to actually meet the person, because they're image of them would be shattered (like porcelain). Stars are held up so high above the rest of society, but they really are not as wonderful as we think.

Panic! at the Disco – That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) Lyrics 15 years ago
This is probably my favorite song at the moment.
Like others have said, it's about change and growing up. These things usually come with a sense of confusion as you try to figure out where you're going in life. You may think you know where you're going and that you've got it figured out, but you see that that's not the case as time goes by ("Things are shaping up to be pretty odd..."). You're also figuring out who you are, but that isn't always clear either ("So it seems I'm someone I've never met..."). A person can struggle with fitting in with everyone else while doing this ("I want to go where everyone feels the same...")
I see other parts as changes in relationships as you change yourself; whether it be with friends or a significant other ("A falling out we won't tiptoe about..." and the other verses that fit with that).
It has a nostalgic, melancholy feeling about it, but it's embracing the change at the same time (mainly because it's inevitable). "Things have changed for me, and that's okay. I feel the same, I'm on my way, and I say." This last bit just seems to be about looking back at where you were and where you're going. The change has happened and you're moving forward to a better place than where you were before as the change was happening.
