i think its quite clear its a song about the religious. People like you You live in a dream world You despise the outside And you fear next one! It's in your dream There's just one question Should I kill? Or should I be left behind? the religious especially directed at those who believe salvation is through killing your enemy. Sick and tired Of all your complaints This is the hour We bring it down! this is about non religious, about bringing down this mid set. and the complaints the religious. You seem to be So introverted How come we fail With all that is given? aimed more towards the christian ideas of why things are so wrong when we have been given supposedly so much from christ and the lord. You crossed the line You remember my name Time runs backwards As we're heading that way! obviously aiming that the religious who look to past deeds as divinity incarnate and how its going to eventually wipe us out, witch is very common with religious war. |

i think the moonshield is earth. it shields the moon from light "fire and wind" that it drinks. so the earth steals color. its is talking of Humanity as a whole not a specific person. his brother pack signed in blood being technology. what will eventually destroy us. and now that we have turned our back on the earth in spirituality we are all "Naked and dying under worlds of silent stone reaching for the moonshield that once upon us shone " under the stones we made and reaching for that old natural spirituality that is primal in all of our cultures. almost shamanism and the idea of earth being our mother or giver of life, that at one point showed humanity the way. |
