The line "watch me with your eyes/been given God, a bit of her" is likening being with such a beautiful goddess to a religious experience. The line "I want to be just like you/then i'd be cool/maybe not" to me would be how he wishes he could just get with anyone at any time the way she can, but he knows in his heart that's not what he truly wants? "Without you being here/I've been given fear/been a bore" is referring to how after he's had his taste of a beautiful girl, he feels uneasy, like he's addicted to the high it gave him. Also could be thinking about what she's doing and who she's doing it with. "I wish I could feel like you/when I fuck like you/beating sore" He's thinking about how that girl can get sexual pleasure whenever she likes from whoever she wants because she's gorgeous and is maybe even a bit curious as to how it feels for a girl to get f*cked. | Okay, first off, just because the beginning sounds a little like Rx Queen, does NOT mean the songs are related. Chino has named a few of his songs after royal titles. Rx Queen, Prince, Royal, and King Diamond (Team Sleep). Again, this song probably is about his relationship with his fans, and also how he's getting older and he's not sure how much longer he can keep it up. I, for one, hope Chino continues to make music until he dies. The man is the most emotional singer in the world, and it's sad how little credit Deftones really get :( Their music is amazing, completely atmospheric, and definitely ethereal. Every time I hear them it feels like I'm floating in space. If you read these, any member of Deftones, I'm sure you already know, but your truest fans really appreciate the mindblowing sounds you produce! We fucking love you! | |
