its just a phrase..showing that life continues and everythings fine..yet above the clouds (in heaven) charlotte must be the name of the murdered woman. id just like to know whos who..the singer is obviously speaking TO the murderer (suicided) but whats her place in the song? who is charlotte? who is felicia? |

lol i thought she said "so im stitching up your circutboard, so im slipping through the hidden doors" obviously meaning shes feeling disconnected with this guy and is trying to rekindle? or else trying to put herself back together, or figuring out why shes been so disconnected with him after trying over n over to make things work/better, then being shut out. 'no more dreaming of the dead as if death itself was undone' as in shes dreaming there is no end metaphorically 'no more cawing like a crow for a boy for a body in the garden' as in shes calling out for a man to "bloom" with lol obviously overall shes in this idealization that love lasts forever but finds out it doesnt..even after trying..then finding herself being blocked out/forgotten from his life (slipping through the hidden doors) and trying to recover |

after listening to a remix where the words are slowed down and the background music stops.. i heard this. EYES LIT IM ON SHORT BREATHS I FOUND DARK EYELIDS (ay ay ay ay oh OH) ... LIFE RESTS LIKE THE SUN BEGUN TO RE-PE EH EH EH EH EHEH ENT now this song is called crimewave and i am aware its a song of a person dying so this makes sense to me..no breasts involved lol dying u have dark eyelids..before u die u see a light (eyes lit)..ur short on breaths cuz ur "taking ur last breath before death" LIFE RESTS is a big one that gives it away..and to repent is to go away. Makes sense? kinda gotta block out their vocal effects. When ethan goes to sing a part of his line was cut off to form a mix effect. where he says "i found dark eyelids" but here it might not even be ethan and could still be alice with a vocal change thru mixing.
