Old I know but to phantom songs can mean many different things to different people. if they wanted it to be about specific details they would make it more obvious. its all about what you believe and what you have experienced. but saying "but I don't think anyone in a relationship is being seriously tormented and is pitiful enough to be begged for forgiveness." If you hurt someone real bad, the pain in their eyes can torment and haunt you. and when you realize what you have done you want forgiveness. you cant live with yourself to hurt someone so bad. For one I am on the fence with god these days. but I do see how it can be seen as religious too. but I can see it as a relationship with my life experiences. |

Old comments but personally I disagree (great thing about music is it can touch you in many different aspects hence why they are artists) I feel its the opposite as I can relate right now. I am so hurt and numb but I know this isnt all there is, this can not take over everything I feel. I am not empty and there is so much more to feel besides the pain she caused. |

| This song is amazing and I believe self explanatory. No matter how much you care and miss her it will not change that she doesn't care about you. countless times you are the one left waiting and hurt. I know exactly how it goes and I just had it happen again to me. I wish this wasn't one of their softest songs. I truly wish it was one of their hardest. I fully understand the hurt behind how he does it but behind the pain is pure anger. ATR can do it all from the vocals down low to the top. soft instrumental to all out tear your face off! and have to give it up for the AMAZING drummer. | |

relationship going sour is obvious reminds me of my ex as well....called her out that she was looking else where for a relationship and we talked about everything but I tried and fought for her trust back, she couldn't handle me being emotionally detached in the past and 2 weeks to the day that I called her out she was gone. I can see the self harmer. or just a addict on any level. getting to deep into anything, taking in too much of the drug and borderline OD. Thats what is great about song writers, can hit base with a variety of people it does not have to be one specific detail. Its of your experience, dont matter what they have experienced to write such things but you change it to create a wide spectrum. |

A lot of different things can come out of this. People always have their own interpretation of songs as thats what the song writer goes for. You cant solely base it towards only one interpretation. I just like it with the raw energy. I dont believe its about turning to crime, I think its more devotion to becoming the best YOU! and NO ONE will stand in your way no more. A figurative bullet with a big FU and a side of shove it up....also implies that with the way of living and cost of things is getting out of hand. |

I just heard the song on my way to work and was curious on what everyone thought. I know it a older song but heres my input. I say drug addict thats taken it to far, obviously the call for help and sick of being there is apparent to what it means no matter the situation. but I think its coke addict Hands on the mirror (- coke you line up on a mirror) Can't get much clearer Can't make this all go away (- drugs wont make it go away) Now that you're bleeding You stare at the ceiling (- nose bleed, you look up, sever coke users have nose bleeds.) Watch as it all fades away: (- drug kicks in) I know by the look that I see In your eyes (- see that your high) I won't stand around and I won't watch you die (- drug r bad mkay) Its hard to sit back and watch a drug addict when they reach out take you down as they cant stop. just my 2 cents |
