Whew....tears streaming down as I listen. Amazing song. "And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears. and love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears." |

I'm all misty eyed after reading your post. I can relate. I can tell you are an amazing person. I wish someone would have felt this way toward me when I came out of addiction. This song expresses PURE LOVE and I am glad you have that with your mom. ;) |

This song captures the essence of what it feels like coming out of drug addiction: - It's empty in the valley of your heart.. (YUP!) The sun, it rises slowly as you walk…(YUP!) Away from all the fears And all the faults you've left behind :) - The harvest left no food for you to eat (NOPE) - And I'll find strength in pain (YES!) - I'll know my name as it's called again - And I will change my ways :) Or what it is like to experience a loved one coming out of addiction: - I know the shame in your defeat - Cause I have other things to fill my time You take what is yours and I'll take mine Now let me at the truth Which will refresh my broken mind - So come out of your cave walking on your hands And see the world hanging upside down You can understand dependence When you know the maker's hand I LOVE this song, I think it can be interpreted many different ways…. |
