I agree with Thorenus. I think in this song the narrator is talking to a teenager or child (a son or perhaps himself when younger). Beautiful song! |

One of the best songs on the new album! Great melody; I like this verse: "Cry at night, you see the tv's glowing" |

i like this song, it has a nice melody but i don´t know what the lyric is about. Wiki says: Bimbo In popular English, the term Bimbo tends to have two similar connotations. The first refers to a attractive woman with poor intelligence or education, while the second refers to a woman with low sexual inhibitions and who often acts in a promiscuous manner. |

| I think that this song talks about maturity. It´s saying that he´s not flying anymore, about knowing the direction that you wanna take but in a real way of achieving it ( by train). Now he sees the world from a different side. | |

This song talks about modern life. Everything is to fast nowadays. They want the innocence back, they want something new and fresh. Sometimes in our lifes we have to stop and try to realize where and what we are. Nice song! |

In my interpretation this song is on the perspective of a girl that envys the life that Stuart takes now, after sucess. She thinks of him "like a movie star" but in the same way remembers on what he "were" when they used to be friends and can´t realize how he is so important now. All this comparison doesn´t let she sleep well. She wants to be like Stuart, with everyone around loving what she does: the boy in the corner, the postman, the policeman. It does him "no good". But, on her daily routine she doesn´t like what she sees: Now I'm back on my beat/On the same greasy street. In the end the second part of the song Stuart tries to get closer to the girl and understand why she feel that way. So, that´s it! Let comment about this beautifull song on this beatifull new album! |
