@[jjansen:11683] That's a really interesting point of view for this song, and I can see where you get it too now that you mention it. I had a different interpretation for the song when I listened to it. To me, the title is something that would have been said by the shooter of the dead brother. By "I had no intentions" I think the shooter means it was a crime of passion and not something he planned on doing. But then the lyrics tell the story behind the killing through the eyes of a loved one and it becomes clear that it isn't a crime of passion and that it was instead caused by jealousy. Thanks for sharing your interpretation of the song, it got me thinking about it! |

| The first time I heard this song I had not know about the death of the singers son, so my interpretation is different from the other ones. I think this song is about a guy searching for God. To him life is a sing a long, and he searches for ghost because he needs to know that after we're gone our hummalong doesn't end. | |
