So far it looks like I'm the only one that has this view pint so far. I think that the song is about his mother. "Too bad I can't turn back time, so I wouldn't be here, what I'd give for you to disappear" why would he not be there if he made his ex disappear? plus the line "I'm never coming home" makes me think this. I don't know if any of you have pulled away from an over-protective mom or not but they can be pretty awful to handle. I am doing so right now and I feel betrayed and just want to get as far away as I can. This might be what he is talking about. If not I think it is metaphoric about the music industry. |
