I completely agree with Jbrix and Niller @Kiyoko: The bit you're refering to does not have to be understood in a sexual manner.. The line "Love to turn you on" has been used before by the Beatles (Reported be slang for drug abuse) in the song A day in the life.. It can for example be understood as I love to turn on your music.. The love floating in the air, should more be understood as, that Tim is a huge Lennon fan, and hence he "loves" him and his work.. Furthermore, the lyrics printed here are not entirely correct.. In the very last chorus, Tim actually sings "But on Strawberry Fields there's a flame", which of course also is a Beatles reference.. |
