| this song talks about a relationship with a girl that he wanted to have sex with and at the second verse he did have sex wih her but the part "something broke inside my stomach , i let the pieces lie just were they fell" here he is done with her ....so the "pieces' is the sperm ..u know when a man is done...then he say "being with u is hell" in which it has two faces ...one of them is the humen sin mentioned as "Hell" and the second is that he hated her after the sex...so the feeling is discribed later by "hair blown in an open car"...brings u back to the first time here saw here...but he say at the end "on a drive out to the farm"...i think here "drive out" is that he left here and the final part when the song is slow...it sounds like regret or a sad feeling from the band ...which means that the girl with repeat the same story with other guys in her life and so one | |

this , let me say "masterpiece", takes about the feeling when u will be close to death...somepoeple believes that they see all the moments they lived in their life within mints of death ...like (tracks)..same as mentioned at the begining of (The way out of here), when he says "put of train tracks i dreamed of escape"..same feeling here but looks like older....floyd style...great |

| well in my opnion ...the song talks about a suiciding poeple and even if they will go to heavens it wont change the world and the solo discripes that explosion ...but i think there is hiding massege behind that ...i think it talks no. 11 ...coz in part 4:43..when steven wilson play the (Anesthetize rythem)...we can hear a sound of someone saying (daash) wich it means 11 in iraqi langauge...so maybe it talkes about world trade...i like this band anyway...and i listen to this song like 11 times a day. | |
