i think the song is about... a couple that would do anything for each other... their falling in love although their are a few problems. Their relationship can end at anytime, although they want to 'ride it til the end.'(like a train) he wants to be everything with her, he wants to know everything, he wants to be "inside of her," almost like he's apart of her. they want to be able to open up to each other, "get inside of each other,' they wish they knew each other better; each others every thought and feelings. she knows she'll never be able to get inside of him emotionally and he knows he'll never get her to open up to him. he knows hes gonna fall (screw up) and she just waiting for him to do something that will start a fight or ruin their relationship; he will never truely know her or understand her feelings or thought, and its the same for her. but they love each other too much to actually break up, they'd rather wait til the end just happens. and when it does his trip/fall with me over and he'll have to pick up the pieces! |
