| Maya is clearly speaking of heartbreak in this song. More than likely her loving another person and them constantly leaving her only to come back and mess with her emotions and treat her like crap. Never loving her as much as she loves them and ultimatly making her numb inside. Ive seen The Sounds perform numerous times and everytime she sings Night After Night she asks someone in the crowd for a cigarette and begins to tear up. Im assuming she is speaking of women because Maya is infact a lesbian. | |
