personally, i think the singer is saying he is death. but a peaceful death. They know my name because I told it to them But they don't know where and they don't know when It's coming or when But it's coming, keep the car running i think he's saying that everyone knows him. everyone knows death will come some day but they dont know when. when he says keep the car running i think he means just keep on living life until its over. If some night I don't come home Please don't think I've left you alone The same place animals go when they die i think he's saying never forget that the morning is not promised and that death will always come. but its wont be bad. when you think of a place that animals go to when they die is peaceful anf happy, heaven. thats where this death lives, making it seem like a more peaceful death. |
