Good interpretation. Sounds accurate enough. Such an awesome song, but of course, heart wrenching. |

goaliepride, I totally agree with you. I absoutely love this song and I'm also "one of the few" who actually prefers it to the epilogue, although I absolutely love the epilogue too. I think that n220u_flyer pretty much hit the nail on the head with his explanation, sounds absolutely on point. This album has some of the deepest music about relationships I have EVER heard and that I ever will hear. I hardly ever make comments on this site, but this song and album is so woth it. I really hope that when people here these songs that they don't take it lightly. There are serious messages and feelings behind them. This Company Calls song may sound upbeat and jumpy, but behind it was a painful singer talking about real issues. For me, this is what music is about and to be honest in this day and age I rarely ever find music this good anymore and it's actually very sad. I still play this track over and over again almost daily. |

@ cmlegnax That is the most amazing definition of a song I have ever heard here on song meanings.net or ever in fact, and I created an account on here just to tell you this. You gave a very deep take on what you feel the song means and it makes perfect sense. I had no idea what the song meant, but after reading your take on it, it actually seems to make sense. If the song really is about that, then this is an even greater song then it already is. It's a very raw, dark, powerful song. The lyrics are dynamic. What I love is how much you were willing to open your mind and expore it's meaning. You are right when you said, what is a more beautiful song then being about God and Satan. Amazing. This is so true. I take my hat off to you. Your definition of what a song means is the best I have ever read. |
