my superwoman licked
I don’t need a refill of this shit,
I need something that works motherfucker!'

After sourcing the material here is a better translation:

I have never thought of Sanningi
As a house bird
But if she was to be,
You could stroke her feathers
And not chase her in to a corner
till she turns her owl eyes and claws towards you.
Others judge Sanningi as
a cold knife,
She is both Ying and Yang,
Worm in the grass,
and the bird king who flies from the eagle
When she believes in herself

Nina's part is from a poem by Olav H. Hauge

'After you'll see that I'll crawl back' sb 'you act aloof, say that I’ll crawl back'

This is an early favorite of mine off this album, my tastes change the deeper I get into an album but this one just tore my soul apart the first time I heard it

This whole album is about religion. They sound like love songs at first but Kevins writing is multilayered to say the least.

The 'enemy gene' is the capacity for love and devotion. It changes your decision making (irrationality, 'breaking the machine')

'everything is born in shame, it’s not just me, particle wave duality' I think this physics reference is being used as an analogy as to 'no matter how different we think we are from other people or religions we are all capable of love and devotion' or we all have the 'enemy gene' which is not necessaarily a good thing ('how can I trust my fractious heart').

Eg har aldri tenkt meg sanningi
Som ein husfugl,
Men um ho so vore,
Kan du godt strjuka henne med fjøri
Og ikkje jaga henne upp i ei krå
Til ho snur ugleaugo og klør imot deg.
Andre held sanningi for
Ei kald knivsegg,
Ho er både
Yin og yang,
Ormen i graset,
Og fuglekongen som lettar frå ørni
Når hu trur seg høgst.
Eg har òg set

Per Google translator:

I've never thought the truth
As a husfugl,
But if she so been,
Can you well strjuka her fjøri
And not drive her upp in a corner
For it turns owl eyes and claws against you.
Others include the truth of
A cold knife's edge,
It is both
Yin and yang,
The worm in the grass,
And the bird king who rises from ørni
When she thinks the highest.
