Alright, I didn't review all the comments here to see if any were along the lines of what I'm about to type so sorry if one of you were on this track. I feel as those Dosed is actually from a drug's standpoint. Imagine if heroin was sentient for a second, all it ever wants is your life. The mountain can definitely be metaphorical, the mountain of drugs she overdosed on, and the canyon could be metaphorical for the girl's veins or body in general. The drug can't hide in her dead body forever, it will eventually just break up and degrade in time. For the part with the seahorse, think of it as what the heroin expects to have happen, everything is a blast! Sadly though, the girl overdosed. Also, think of the title and first verse as the drug saying its been put into dosage. |
