to me this song seems to refer to the struggle of knowing what you want. the first verse it seems as tho she is discussing how she always wants to leave but at the same time she wants to be stopped..and then goes on to say that when she is gone she'll know what she's done, meaning taking the risk of what you want might leave you feeling regret afterwards. "The door is locked from the inside, Don't wait around, I won't arrive" Her mind is made up and she's not going back (locked from the inside) maybe I'm completely wrong but those are my thoughts! |
