At face value, this song is about powerful gods fighting a climactic battle wielding the universe like a weapon. Deeper, it could mean the human race and how much potential we have: "With the power of the universe we stand strong together" means that we have the ability to achieve anything if only we stand united. Rumor has it that this song was inspired by a Player vs. Player on World of Warcraft that involved high level characters. |

Like most DragonForce lyrics, these are straightforward, yet with a much deeper meaning. The basic idea is to suggest living on through a great battle. "So far away" is a line that suggests that the battle takes place in a fictional world. The sound of the guitar and very long interlude imply that the fight is long and shows great intensity. "We feel the pain of a lifetime lost" shows they mourn for the fallen soldiers fighting for them. |
