| Skinny Puppy – T.F.W.O. Lyrics | 14 years ago |

What's he saying between "Faded higher why you liar" and "Faded higher why you liar" at the end of the song? I can only hear for sure: "I don't remember", but I'm not sure what he's saying before that. Anyway. I love this song. I love the live Pigface version. It's awesome and has a Punk-rock kind of feel. And to stay on topic, I thought this song was about how someone feels and how they think on a bad drug trip or something. But jejh's interpretations were also really spot on. This why I love Skinny Puppy, their songs can have so much meaning to them. |

| This is kind of what I was thinking too. Awesome to know I'm not the only one who thought of this theory P: | |
| KMFDM – Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away Lyrics | 15 years ago |

So you know the song War Pigs by Black Sabbath? Well I think this song is kind of about the same thing. Like, how people do horrible acts, thinking they'll get away with it even in the end. But then they don't. Something like that. A fucking fantastic song nonetheless. |

| Skinny Puppy – Ugli Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song is about how religious groups try to be perfect, and end up screwing up and taking things waaay the wrong way. Like the war going on right now, or the Crusades or the Witch burnings. And I think that it means something like that Jesus would rather be "ugli" than the perfection the groups are to trying to pursue which they think is all good and right when it's far from not. |

I think this song is essentially about how screwed up the human race/society is or can be. Not sure though. |

| Mortiis – Scar Trek / Parasite God Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think this song might be about how hypocritical some religious people can be. Or how people in religious groups are so quick to listen to the ideas of people in high power in their groups. Rather than the actual god they believe in. And instead treat their leader like a god. Maybe? Not sure, I'm trying to describe what I'm thinking and it's not working haha. |

| Gojira – Flying Whales Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It reminds me of the episode of the new Doctor Who with the space whale that the people build a spaceship on. | |
| Utada Hikaru – Blue (Translation) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song is about depression, or feeling "blue". I think it's namely about depression because she talks about how the lyrics talk about how she doesn't seem to be motivated to do anything or to feel love: No matter how much pain there is at the moment Why do I continue to sing? (Who knows) I don't want to love anymore Why am I becoming so distant? (Darling, darling, ah) What can you understand? Why do I care? (Who knows) I don't want to love anymore Why am I becoming distant? (Darling, Darling, ah) I can't hear at all The desert dawn on my eyes My tears don't fall at all I'm turning blue I don't know it's just my interpretation P: |

| KMFDM – Go To Hell Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think it might be about how war is like hell. Some of lyrics describe places that have had warlike situations at times in history or have some violence in their history as well: "I've been to congo I lived in Rome Spent my lifetime To waste my brain Now it's the same time running Out for you and me That pushes pulls and drags me, baby Back to thee" or "I saw the light I stitched my wounds I picked the orchids In Nicaragua's jungles I'll miss your gams So wet and shiny You're my vietnam-child Kiss my scars away " I could be wrong, I thought I'd just add it this since there's no other comments D: |

| KMFDM – Stray Bullet Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song has really different meanings depending on the person who listens to it. A lot of which has already been said. "I am your worst enemy I am your dearest friend Malignantly malevolent I am of divine descent" I think this part of the song might be about how several different people act or see the world. Reading it this part it seems to switch between two people, one being an screwed up person and one being a good person. How that relates with the rest of the lyrics I don't know haha. It might also be about Religious Zealots vs people that aren't Religious Zealots from the same part of the lyrics. I also think it might be about how different people see religion or something. "I'm the illegitimate son of god" Illegitimate can mean both something against the law or not accepted with standards or rules. It can also mean a child born from parents not married. I don't know which meaning he was using in this though lol. I don't even know what it's exactly about, Epic song however. |

| Baphomet – The Suffering Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Since there's only like ONE comment on any of their music, I'd thought I'd contribute a bit. I first thought the song is about revenge or how he's taking anger out on others in away: "A life of pain I have lived" But it might also seem more to be about a guy who goes around killing screwed up people: "a death of pain I will give my victims I choose with ease the people I feel are the disease" and as the song progresses it seems like he begins to enjoy the suffering he's causing, even if it was for a just cause. Or even maybe it's from the point of view of death (or some form of illness) itself: "I cant wait to experience and take your soul Through you flesh and your mind I will roar I can't wait to taste and savor your flesh To watch while your blood spills from your chest I can't wait to cause your death" Or perhaps it's about a serial killer and about how he sees things when he's killing and torturing people. I couldn't think of anything else, this is best I can think of. Good song, one of the very few of this genre I actually enjoy. Despite how dark it is. |
