The term combine is also heavily used in the book "One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest", describing society as a combine (harvester) which harvests the minds of souls of people and turn them into robots that follow the norm. Judging by Winston's use of words from the book "1984" in Samsara, I wouldn't be suprised if he was again referencing a book which deals with an overbearing society. |

The first three lines are from the book 1984 by George Orwell, in which a guy (Named Winston funnily enough) is living in a time where the government has complete control over all forms of free thought and everything, any opposition is met with destruction. |
