Personally I've always been the type of guy to say 'Hell to the World!', and that's what I'm going to do now. I agree with the several opinions here but going with the literal interpretation of the song, I say, go Taylor! I know it's unfair to the other and they should have settled it amongst themselves before the ceremony and all, but what's done is done. Plus I like Taylor's character while I don't even know the bride, why the heck should I sympathize with her? Sorry if that sounds extremely selfish, but in the end I'm just being honest. I'd stand by my friend even if she does break in on someone's wedding(right now that seems a possibility), and help her do it, too, coz that's my expression of caring. She may be wrong, but she's my friend. |

I think this is one of the best songs Avrile has written(though I do have some other favorites). What I admire most is her depiction of the kind of girl who is so rare to find these days. Someone who knows what she's worth and won't sacrifice her principles or moral for some stud. She knows what love is and she hasn't got it. So she knows to stay away from the dumb prick. I admire her courage and will and her determination to be by herself until she can find someone true. Wish there were more people like that in the world. But then again, if wishes were wings, pigs would fly. |
