| The Kooks – Sway Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| maybe thats why they released it as its own song. they adapted to fit the situation as a sort of 'good luck, we're here for you' thing... :\ | |

*facepalm* I can't believe you just wrote that. I'm sorry if you like twilight but you just ruined this whole moment for me. |

| The Kooks – Stormy Weather Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think its a fight with his girl. the beginning is he started a fight with her, maybe saying thats shes not into it as emotionally as he is but then after he realizes just how harsh he might have sounded and tries to retract his words and make up for it. i'm not sure. but thats what I get from it. and as said above, the lyrics are completely wrong. |

| The Kooks – Love It All Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think Alice is right. the girl just wants love for all the little things, maybe unlike a previous girl who was all about the big and drama filled thing. I like to think this song is about the simple things in a relationship and loving them for what they are. |

| It's quite obviously about getting it on in the back of the van. | |

| I honestly think you're looking waaaaaay to much into this. but if thats what you would like to see in this song, thats your prerogative. | |
| Eskimo Joe – Setting Sun Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think it's about growing older... 'And if I see you waiting for the setting sun It will never come And if it ever comes, you're forever young You're forever young I think that setting sun is a metaphor for life. If you wait for life to happen it won't but when life happens, it keeps you 'forever young' i dunno, thats just how i see it. |

| Jet – Seventeen Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I watched a doco on Jet the other day and they explained this song... Lead singer (Nick?) had just moved into an apartment that his friend had moved out of because he was moving out of the city and the landlords daughter had caught wind that the guy was moving out and Nick caught her and her boyfriend opening the door to the apartment. She was seventeen and apprently after the whole situation happened he got to thinking what he was like when he was seventeen and all the stuff he used to get up to. 'I get back home at a quarter to four What ya doin' with ya keys inside my door? Seventeen and you've never been here before I try my best not to put you down But there's a hole in my head where the words fall out I dont care what faithless people say Should I care?' So thats like when he caught her and then 'We take our chances every day We watch those bleeding hearts decay Id walk through walls, would it make you stay? I burnt my bridges and I burned my friends If I had my time, Id do it again I don't care what faithless people say I don't care' Is like how he used to act and feel when he was seventeen. I love this song, its so good. especially live!! |
