He was referencing it if you couldn't tell by his choice of the the word "etc" meaning OTHER GENRES as well. Contrasting Rock to Hip-hop, Rock (and all other sub-genres of rock) is about the music with generally straight-forward meanings; Hip-hop however, is about the lyrics put into music (or for instance, a "beat"). There is absolutely nothing wrong with opinion. However, if you're going to voice your opinion, at least have some intelligence in what you're saying to back it up with. |

His lyrics if you couldnt tell, have a lot to do with the "old rap" which demeans society, yet all of his lyrics can relate to other things.. Also, if you weren't so narrow-minded and actually appreciated another persons opinion you might understand that Lil Wayne's target audience are those who think similar to him (eg. those who are not narrow-minded and appreciate what others have to say).
