First of all, I apologize for my bad grammar =) Ok I see this song as being sing to two different persons, to herself and to someone else; For me the chorus is the part she is telling to herself: Can't be too careful anymore When all that is waiting for you Won't come any closer You've got to reach out a little more More, more, more, more and this part, The truth never set me free The truth never set me free The truth never set me free So I'll do it myself I was a little confused the first time I listened to the song because this part doesnt seem to go with the rest, but I got an interpretation now... See everyone says that knowing the thruth about things will set you free, in reality sometimes it doesn't; sometimes not knowing that someone cheated on you or knowing that someone you care betray your confidence is better, so basically there are occassion when the truth does not liberate you, you have to do it yourself withouth matter what the truth was....again sorry for my broken english (not my primary language) |
