Castles in the air is my favorite Don McLean song simply because it tells a story about a man who has become disgusted with the way society has become, he decides to leave his woman because he cannot cope with her way of life. He decides to move to the country to find a country woman and live a life of peace and comfort. Rather than live in the city where everything is hectic and loud. |
