To me this song is about someone who is deeply in love and walking on air (drifting through the city) as he goes to see his love and the outro is what he feels when he is with her (i should be safe forever in your arms). Truly amazing powerful song. |

the lyrics "iv paid for fifteen or more/but my guts can't take anymore/and my hands are stuck to my jeans" have got to be about ecstasy. I think this is just a dark drug induced love song. And a truly brilliant one at that. |

Never gets old, the ultimate house party tune. I think the lyrics are simply about the narrator sleeping with a girl at a party and then a turbulent and volitile releationship follows. |

The first time i heard this ( which was recently ) i had what can only be described as a religious experience, i didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and i won't even attempt to dechiper the lyrics.
It's a shame about lee mavers, they could have been huge. |

I think the song is about feeling isolated, also i think it's the type of song that reminds you of something, maybe a time in your life. I totally disagree with the nay sayers of this song, the lyrics are magic and the guitar melody maybe the most beautiful of all time. |

I think the song is about isolation, but also we can have our own meanings for it depending on our experiences hearing it.
I totally disagree with the nay sayers of this song, the lyrics are magic and it has perhaps the most beautiful guitar melody ever. |
