Ok well, “wish you well”, great song. I can’t really tell if he is talking about a boy or a girl, or how serious they’re relationship was but I’m guessing that he’s talking about a girl. So here is the gest of what I think he is trying to say. “Some times love feels like pain.” “And sometimes I wonder if it’s all the same”. (I think he is trying to say that sometimes our loved-ones may bring us pain, or we may bring pain to them. And I guess he wonders if anyone else goes through the same things.) “Sometimes life feels just like rain.” “Cause you never know when it’s gonna fall down on you.” (Sometimes life can seem almost perfect, and then maybe out of no where it can turn bad.) “I wish you well, I wish you well.” “On this trip to find you’re self.” “I wish you well, wish I could help.” “But I can’t help you find you’re self.” (…..well I believe that this person whom ever he is talking to is leaving or he’s leaving them because he can’t seem to be bother with them anymore. But he wishes the best for them.) “Sometimes fate feels locked down.” “And sometimes I wonder if we’ll ever get out.” (Some believe fate has a way of bring people together, and sometimes maybe it wasn’t fate at all, just a coincidence, and that coincidence has him feeling trapped.) “Sometimes life hurts just like now.” “But you’ve got to know that it’s all gonna come back around.” (Life is going to suck sometimes, that’s just something we don’t have control over. I think that he is talking to himself when he say’s you’ve got to know. And they were pretty tight. And maybe as they grew up things changed and their lives were headed different directions. And so maybe this girl started to change and stop caring for life and just said like forget it. If anyone has ever seen the video ti this song.I think you will get exactly they're meaning. Some males go throught life after woman after woman, dropping one after another. Some may say we're waiting for that speical one. So we tend to substitute woman until we meet that speical one |
