Hey that's pretty good insight? I can shed a little more meaning on the song, since I'm Andrew's dad. He says that Static Waves has a lot to do with the unspoken confusion of relationships in general (unclear communication). "I would have let you leave" is exactly that, the willingness to let the other go in order to let them find happiness. Kind of an "If you love it, let it go, and if it comes back, then it is love" type of thing. I really enjoy ALL of his music, and have loved watching him grow! I can tell you that there will be many more good songs from him in the future! I've always been proud of him, but now I'm just amazed! :) Rick www.MrPencil.info |
