i kinda think shes in a relationship but shes really ... gah i forgot the word but she doesnt feel like shes worth it. and so she thinks hes gonna break up with her so she does all these things, makes herself go cold, to break her fall over him. make it so it doesnt hurt as much, when it happens. Which when you do that you make what youre afraid of happening, actually happen. So when he does break up with her, shes all, i knew it, im worthless and horrible, and she gets even colder inside. |

This is my favorite song by TBM. and its about how there is no magic, fairy tales are not real, reality sucks. I think it was from the point of veiw of someone who believed with all their essence that magic and fairytales and all of that stuff was real and then something happened to snap that dream and now theyre saying that its not real but it is so much better to pretend anyway. |

i actually think its more about a child and his/her imagination. Like they go into the woods (or backyard) with their sword and chainmail (every child imagines they have something like that) and then they fell asleep dreaming up more of their adventures, and then they wake up cause the beasts had blackened the horizon (could be their parents towering over them telling them that they have to stop this daydreaming and grow up) and they almost give in but then the giant dragon jumps over the hill (their imagination kicks in and they decide that no one can surround them and take their dreams away) I dont know thats just the kind of thing i would have done as a kid. I had a really big backyard and i had many adventures in it and my parents were always telling me i was getting too old to be stuck in my head. |
