Oh and, "Put me to sleep, evil angel" could be them asking the "Savior" to end their life, "Open your wings, evil angel Fly over me, evil angel" Could be the "Savior" showing only the Angel part of them then "Flying" right over the other person showing how evil they really are, "Why can't I breathe, evil angel" Is the person asking why it hurts so much as they watched their "Savior" walk by them in their time of need. |

I personally think this song is about some one who appeared to be a savior but in the end betrayed some one "Hiding betrayal" When I hear this song It makes me think of some one who needed help and got it from the "Savior" but something drastic happens and the savior like person leaves them behind "No, don't, leave me to die here Help me survive here Alone, don't remember, remember" The person is asking them to help him survive and then realizes they're alone and could perhaps be telling himself not to remember the horrible experience. Then the "I'm a believer, nothing could be worse All these imaginary friends" part could be that they believed in this person only to know later they weren't there to help them, and all this person's life they could of gone through this only ever having "Imaginary friends" to comfort them, Then when they say "Alone, don't surrender, surrender" they're once again referring to how they're alone but telling themselves not to surrender. And "Hoping to find a savior" is them being lost inside all the confusion from the betrayal and hoping some one would come save them. I think that's all, and I hope this doesn't sound too far fetched :) |
