MY OPINION of this song and album is that eminem is no longer a puppet of the ILLUMINATI. YES, the ILLUMINATI. Not afraid is saying that he is NO LONGER AFRAID (thus the name) so he is breaking out of their clutches. He says, "It was my decision to get clean, I did it for me, Admittedly I probably did it SUBLIMINALLY for you" means that he is no longer trapped and admits to using subliminal messages in his music which they demanded. "So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage" also supports him getting free.
