The Nation of Gods and Earths,NGE,5% nation of islam, etc. was founded in 1964 by Clarence 13X(clarence smith) as an offshoot of the Nation of Islam its been called a gang and alot of other things by the people that dont know a thing about it. Its technically a religion, as much as any dogmatic sect of christianity. They believe that man is a symbolic representation of God and woman Earth. The 5% comes from the nation of islam teaching that 85% of the worlds people are blind to the truth, 10% of them know it but lie for their personal gain, and 5% know the truth and try to make the 85% see. |
