Some of these lyrics are wrong :[ Cause I can get real thick like a bull with Mark Toneil And by the way, top o' the mornin' to ya should be Cause I can get real thick like a bowl of malt-o-meal And by the way, top o' the mornin' to ya and The House Of Pain soon will reign Over the hip hop scene and like golden green is actually The House Of Pain soon will reign Over the hip hop scene with white gold and green (colors of the Irish flag) |

or possibly he's using it in the sense that when a flower is dried, it's image and beauty are forever, and the girl he is in love with, to him, will forever look as beautiful as she did when he first met her... Maybe, that's just my take |

I feel that this song relates to me and me current situation. I have a girlfriend, whom I love very much, but I only get to see her about an hour and a half total a week "Time is a low". she recently got a job, and it's getting harder to see her, between that and college. "Getting harder to see the sun coming through" Our relationship is strained, but not because we don't love each other or get along, but because we have so little time together, and we've tried so many solutions "What are we going to do" but none of them really worked out. To me, the singer is singing about a similar situation. Myself and the singer try so hard to make the relationship work, but it strains me, but I just can't bear to stop "All the sick and selfless days" But, that's just how I interpret it. |
